Mysticism
“The Christian of the future will be a mystic or he will not exist at all.” -
Karl Rahner
There is only one truth.
When we see clearly, the great teachings are the same.
What can ever be lost? What can be attained?
If we attain something, it was there from the beginning of time.
If we lose something, it is hiding somewhere near us.
Look: this ball in my pocket:
Can you see how priceless it is?
Japanese Zen master Ryokan

Absolutely! The more I read about philosophy and religion, the more I see their similarities. The differences are really minimal when you look at it. In fact, mystics are all the same regardless of their traditions. Recently I have been mostly interested in reading Augustine and Aquinas, the former I consider a misunderstood mystic, about the other I have not made up my mind as of yet.
